D.C. Part I

We took a weekend trip to D.C. about a month ago and it was so much fun! I can't wait to go back again. To make the trip even better we were able to stay with one of my old college roommates. It was great to catch up with her. (Thanks for the hospitality Joni!)

On Saturday we went to this French Market in Georgetown. It was a little rainy and so there weren't many people out but I loved walking around Georgetown. It was beautiful.

Iwo Jima Memorial in Arlington

At the Dairy Godmother a great little frozen custard place in Alexandria.

At the Dairy Godmother: Apparently President Obama brought his girls here for a treat and sat in this chair.

Daniel sat in the President's chair.

Another time - more sweet treats at Lavender Moon for cupcakes. I think they were the best cupcakes I have ever had! So, so, so good!

Heavenly
