The Ojuka's

My sister Kat just got some new family photos taken (atthemomentphotography.blogspot.com)and I have been gushing over them! Julius is only a week younger than Nora. He is such a cutie - I just want to pick him up and squeeze him! I miss you guys so much. Thanks Kat - I LOVE the pictures!

St. Patrick's Day

When Daniel woke up on St. Patrick's Day he found a trail of leprechaun foot prints going from our leprechaun statue in the living room to the refrigerator where that sneaky leprechaun had turned our milk green! Daniel thought it was hilarious! We had green eggs and ham for breakfast with green milk to drink of course. We had a party for Joy School at our house with his Joy School friends where they played a game, had shamrock shaped sandwiches and green Oreo's, and did a St. Patrick's Day craft. We watched a little of the St. Patty's Day parade on the t.v. (just enough to see some guys singing O Danny Boy - which flattered Daniel) and had Irish Stew and Irish Soda Bread with Ginger Ale for Dinner. Man - I love holidays!

Nothing But Cute

I just love little Nora. She is so much fun. I love all her little girly stuff. I love all her little girly mannerisms. What's even better is to watch Daniel with her. My all boy - all the time - guy with my all girl - all the time - little gal. Daniel loves her so much. When he is sad he runs to Nora and wants to hug her and says "Nora will you be my friend?" When he wakes up in the morning he wants to know where Nora is and he usually says "Good morning Nora! How'd you sleep? Happy Valentine's Day!" (Even though Valentine's Day is far gone.) I'm so glad that he loves his sister so much. It will be so fun watching these two grow up together!

I just love the expressions on their faces in these pictures.

A Hint of Spring

Saturday was gorgeous. It was our first real taste of spring. We had fun at the park enjoying the fresh air.

Crazy Kids

Some pictures of the kids from the past couple of weeks:

Daniel loves bread - and I mean he really LOVES bread.
The other day I was on the phone with my sister Emily when out of the corner of my eye I see Daniel sneak past me with this loaf of bread behind his back. He was trying to be so sly. I found him in his room chomping away at it. It was ok we were still able to have it for dinner (french toast with fresh blackberries on top-yum).

My good friend Ashley from NC is always sending Nora the cutest stuff. She sent these sunglasses the other day. Thanks Ashley!

I don't love pickles - I could take 'em or leave 'em but Shannon loves pickles. He snacks on them all the time- so I keep a jar of pickles for him in the fridge (even if it does give him pickle breath). We were at Costco the other day and Shannon spots this vat and I mean vat of pickles. He said- "Look it's the same price that you pay for a little jar at the grocery store! We have got to get this!" I said "Where are we going to put that thing?!" But sure enough it came home with us and there it sits at the back of our fridge.
Daniel also loves the pickles - not suprising - he's my green olive eater but what is suprising is that Nora goes nuts when she sees someone eating a pickle - she loves that pickle juice. Now my baby has pickle breath! Gross.

Ready to go on a walk

Nora is getting pretty good at sitting up.
