Island Beach

This summer we've gone to Island Beach off the coast of Greenwich a few times. It's the perfect afternoon getaway. The kids love it. They love the ferry ride, they love the water, they love the sand, they love digging for little crabs that hide under the rocks. What could be more relaxing than sitting on the warm sand listening to the water lap up on the shore while your kids are happily entertained? Let me tell ya -it's hard to beat.
