Ahoy, Matey!

We went to Mystic, CT on Labor Day. It was so much fun! I want to go back soon. We had such a great time wandering around the little coastal village and exploring all of the ships. Not to mention they were having a seafood festival so we were able to have some yummy seafood! A photo journalist from a little paper in Rhode Island was there covering the seafood festival and took a picture of Daniel.
Here's the link to his picture:

Charles W. Morgan - Whaling ship built in 1841
America's last surviving wooden whaleship. It's huge and really fun to explore inside.

Daniel with the Charles W. Morgan behind him.

Yumm... Lobster!

Daniel was VERY interested in this whole process...

Sailor Dan

Landlubber's trying out our sea legs on the free water taxi.
It was a big hit. We saw tons of jelly fish in the water.

Even thought I've never seen the movie - Mystic Pizza with Julia Robert's - we had to drive by to see it.

I love Mystic! Was that a lobster from Abbott's? I was just thinking about that place the other day and want to make the drive up there just for some lobster! Yum!

Oh, looks so fun!!! I especially love the pic of Daniel with the antennae (or whatever those are) on his face! When we went to Mystic is was FRIGIDDDD so we didn't walk around the docks or the town or anything, I'm so jealous-looks amazing!
