Daniel has been running around in his pirate costume for weeks now so we've been talking about pirates a lot! When I ask him what a pirate says he'll say "ARRRR!" or sometimes he'll say "Shiver me timbers!" If you ask him what his pirate name is he'll say - "Pirate Stinky Buns" (his daddy helped him with that.) One time we asked him if he was a good pirate or a bad pirate and he said he was a bad pirate. I said "What does a bad pirate say?" Daniel said "ARRR!" then I asked him what a good pirate says and Daniel said that they say "Please."
I decided that since Daniel was going to be a pirate that Nora needed to be one too. I found the red and white striped onsie and then just made a little vest to go over it that would kind of match Daniel. I think it turned out pretty cute.

I love how Nora is just gazing up at Daniel. I think she's just checking to make sure that the sword isn't coming her way... 
The only little pumpkins we had this year. The day before Halloween I decided we should get a pumpkin to carve and we went to 7 stores (literally 7 stores) looking for pumpkins. Everyone was sold out!
Ready to go Trick-Or-Treating
Nora's First Halloween!
A couple of Daniel's friends came over to go Trick-Or-Treating in our neighborhood. Jack the soccer player, Drew the dragon, Dane the bat, and Daniel and Nora the pirates. They had a great time. Our neighborhood really gets into the Halloween spirit so there were a lot of fun houses to go to.
