St. Patrick's Day

We didn't plan anything really special for St. Patrick's Day. We watched a little of the St. Patrick's Day Parade on TV. Daniel decorated a big paper shamrock. I tried to do a green meal with what I had in the house. It wasn't Irish - but at least it had some green. We had fried cabbage and onions with snow peas, rice (with green onions), pot stickers (not green -oh well), and green jello. I made the jello earlier in the day and Daniel saw it in the fridge and wanted it SO bad! I kept telling him we would eat it when daddy got home. As soon as Shannon walked in the door - and I mean as soon as he walked in the door- Daniel ran to the fridge and got out the jello. Needless to say jello was the first course of his dinner that night. Fine by me- he had been patient enough!

Can you tell he's enjoying the jello?!

Daniel decided to help himself to his daddy's plate. Shannon was trying to ask him about the green shamrock he had decorated that day - but he was focused on eating. "Don't bother me dad..."
