The day before the wedding Kat went through the temple for the first time. It was such a neat experience to have everyone there in the temple. Our wonderful friends from NC: The Arellano's, Hiatt's and Yow's all came too!

Nana Susan, her dog Dana, and Daniel

The cousins all had such a great time together. We went down stairs at one point to see them playing a game they came up with where they would run and jump as high as they could up on an air mattress that was propped up and see who could get the highest.

Kate is picking up speed...

Daniel even got in on some of the action! He got such a kick out of his cousins.

Kat makes amazing wedding cakes and she wanted to make her own wedding cake. It was worth it in the end - but it sure did take forever! She made 5 tiers (but each tier has 3 layers) so that's a lot of cake... but she only stacked 3 and had two on the side to serve. Some had strawberry filling and some had chocolate. It was soo good! Way to go Kat.

This is the night before the wedding and what is the bride doing?....Still finishing her cake.

Dad brought pearls back from China for us... fancy!

James and Ruth

Making butter cream icing for Kat's cake, and more butter cream, and more butter cream...
