Home to North Carolina
I went home to Greensboro for a few days because one of my best friends from high school got married - Jennifer Norris (now Jennifer Case). Jennifer got married in Maui - lucky girl - but her reception was in NC. It was so much fun to be back home for even just a few days. These first pics are at a Bicentennial Park in Greensboro with my dad.

Grandpa and Daniel
Getting a little drink.

Walking quite reverently...I'm not sure what triggered this but it was cute.

Swinging with mommy.

Daniel thinks Grandpa's mustache is so funny.

Helping Grandma after school in her classroom.
Pulled Pork, slaw and Hush Puppies...yumm. Even though my parents are both from the west - being born and raised in the south I feel deeply connected to my southern roots. :) Of course I had to have some southern bbq while I was home. Apparently President Bush ate at Stamey's when he came through Greensboro last.

Jennifer's Reception: I was so glad I was able to go! Jennifer, you and Jon are so cute! I'm so happy for you guys. Jennifer got married in Maui and wore a dress she picked out when she got married but wore her mom's wedding dress at her reception. What a great idea. And It looked so great on you Jen!
