I love having excuses to make fun food! I made this Lemon Layer Cake with Vanilla Bean Frosting for a friends baby shower and it turned out really great. The filling was a light lemony, marscapone, whipped cream mixture that was heavenly and the yummy buttercream frosting looked so pretty with the flecks of vanilla bean in it. I candied lemon slices to decorate the top which was really easy and fun too. I forgot my camera so thanks to Lindsey for taking pictures.
