Backyard Camping

Daniel has been wanting to go camping for a very...long... time. He was supposed to go on a Daddy/Son camp out last year but it got rained out and he hasn't forgotten. This Memorial weekend seemed like the perfect time - however, we decided to keep it close to home. Literally. Our backyard seemed like a good test run. Daniel couldn't have been more excited. We all watched a movie on the computer in the tent before Nora and I headed into the house for the night. The boys stayed the whole night outside and had a great time. I went camping a lot when I was little and have missed it. I think we'll try a real campsite next although I must admit being in the backyard has it's virtues.
