Arches National Park

We drove down to Moab, Ut for a weekend and went to Arches National Park and Canyonlands National Park. It was so gorgeous! I can't believe I had never been there before. I wasn't sure if Daniel would like it or if he would think it was boring but he loved being able to explore. It was a great family trip.

The Gossips: This was my one of my favorite formations. It really does look like three people standing there talking to each other.

Daniel's favorite: Sheep rock

We packed a lunch and had a picnic near Balancing Rock.

Nora enjoying raspberries.

Daniel was fascinated by the cactus. He wanted to take his picture by them.

My little hiker.

Balancing Rock

Balancing Rock: Daniel and I are standing at the base although it's kind of hard to see us.

Nora wanted to walk everywhere which was extremely difficult!

There was always a time when both children wanted to be carried. Shannon would oblige for a little while. (...Hey, I offered to carry one of them.)

The Windows

Standing under one of the Windows Arches.

Only picture I could get with all of us in it...kind of. Sorry Nora.

Heading into see the Sand Dunes. This one was really fun. After you squeeze through these rocks it opens up to a really soft sandy area. Daniel took off his shoes and played for a while.

In the Sand Dunes: We came...we conquered.

Delicate Arch: Delicate Arch is so beautiful. We didn't do the long hike to it. I'm pretty sure Daniel would have run right off a cliff so we just hiked to one of the look out points.
