For a snack they had trail mix - a.k.a a mixture of whatever snacks were in my pantry.
Camping in the "forest": This was our forest in my house. They are sitting outside their tent making a fire out of cardboard logs and orange tissue paper.
We packed backpacks with things they would need to go "camping."
A walk through the forest: Finding animal pictures with our binoculars.

Manda- you have the cutest ideas EVER! Where do you get them?? Or, do you just come up with them? I want to do a Joy type school thing with James, too and will soon be needing some ideas. How old was Daniel when you started???
