I love homemade bread. How could you not! My sister Jenny has a special touch when it comes to bread. She is practically a pro and makes the most impressive breads. When all of us four sisters were living in Utah we used to get together once a month for a sisters day. We did all kinds of things but once we all went to Jenny's house and she showed us how to make her Challah bread (a traditional Jewish sabbath bread), my Grandma's famous parker house rolls, cornbread, etc. It was so much fun! It's been a really long time since I've made any and it sounded so good to me today - so this was the result. This wasn't one of the recipes Jenny showed us or it probably would have turned out looking much better. I'll admit they weren't the prettiest loaves I've ever made but they tasted great! I told Shannon it's a rule that you have to have a slice of bread with a little butter while it's hot right out of the oven...there's nothing better. He was happy to comply!
Yummm...so good.
Daniel ate it like candy!

Amanda,
I am serious when I say our Tuesday nights need to be a cooking night. You are such a great cook and I wish I could cook great dinners or goodies.
I love your blog and I will visit it daily.
