May Fair 2011

May Fair is a cute little local fair we try to go to every year. The kids love the rides and the weather was beautiful.

Daniel remembered this ride from last year and couldn't wait to ride it again.

I just love how happy and excited she looks in this picture.

The day wasn't complete without some cotton candy! I couldn't believe how big Nora's was - it was almost as big as her!

We signed Daniel up to play baseball this year. This is his first team sport experience and he has been really excited. They just had their first baseball game and it was so cute to watch them out there in their little uniforms running around. He has three other friends on the team which is making it extra fun.

Miss Nora

Field Trip

We went on a field trip to the farm with Daniel's preschool last week. I can't believe he's almost done with preschool!

The Big 3-0

My birthday was at the end of April. We kept it really low key. I'm not so sure about turning thirty - but it was a nice day though. Daniel told me "Happy Birthday" every chance he got throughout the day. We all went out to eat for dinner and Shannon and Daniel made me a cake. They make me feel so loved!

My sister Kathryn sent me a print of this picture she found of me when I was probably about Nora's age with a note that said "Make sure to eat some chocolate for your birthday - since you love it soooo much!" It definately made me laugh. This is exactly the kind of thing I could imagine Nora doing right now.

Shannon said Daniel told him he wanted to get me "pregnant clothes." How funny is that? He must have thought I needed them. :) He picked out this red maternity shirt for me. My 7 month pregnant belly is hiding behind the table though.

Big Brother

Daniel has a big tender heart and he loves his sister. I happened to catch this moment the other day when Daniel was letting Nora snuggle with him b/c she was sad. I'm glad Nora and this new baby girl will have a him as a big brother.
