Crazy Nora

Just a few pictures of Nora. She can be so funny. She loves to change outfits and goes through about a dozen every day. It's always fun to see what she comes up with.

One of the outfits she put together.

High-ya!

I bought her this pj set that came with shorts and pants. She is convinced that she has to wear both at the same time and insists on it.

"I'm Two":

If you ask Nora how old she is - this is what she'll do. I don't know where she got it from but it cracks me up every time. And she always holds her fingers up right in front of her face like that. So funny.

Another one of her outfits.

So tired.

Cheese...

I can't believe how much she's growing up!

St. Patrick's Day

Daniel wanted to make a trap to catch the leprechaun this year so the night before St. Patrick's Day Shannon and the kids rigged up trap. Daniel could hardly wait to check it in the morning. He didn't end up catching him but the leprechaun left this little note and managed to turn our milk green:

Sneaky, sneaky, Daniel
You set a little trap
But you must have forgotten
I'm a quick and tiny little chap.
It's true, I was tempted
And fell into your box
I got out and won't tell how
I'm as sneaky as a fox!

-your little leprechaun
p.s. since you won't get my gold this year - I left you a treat.

Go Jimmer!

My kids and I have enjoyed watching some BYU basketball this year. My sister sent them Jimmer shirts which they wore proudly. Daniel would decorate for the games with his BYU postcards, books, and pictures he drew himself. Daniel literally cried when they lost in the semifinals to Florida.

Fire Dept. Field Trip

We had a joy school field trip for the kids Nora's age at our neighborhood fire department a couple of weeks ago and it happened to be on a day when Daniel didn't have preschool. It was fun having the bigger kids tag along too. They all enjoyed it.

The fireman showing them all the gear they have to wear.

They all got fire hats.

Daniel and Dane in the fire truck. Nora was happy just to look at it from the outside.

The ambulance had just gotten back so they let the kids look around in there too. We hope we never have to take a ride in one of these!

Their antique fire truck.

The firemen helped the kids slide down the pole a little ways. Daniel thought that was SO COOL!

Little Cougar

Just a few pictures of Nora in her BYU gear.Go Cougars!

Nora saying..."Go cougars!"

Valentine's Day

We love Valentine's Day at our house. Shannon cooks dinner for the two of us every year and I look forward to it so much. He does an excellent job!

Breakfast with the kids.

The dinner Shannon made- all by himself! It was scrumptious!
marinated olives/marinated bocconcini and bread
Green salad
Roasted Artichokes
Steak

The chef: It was so great! Thanks Shan!

Another Snow Storm

We've had so much snow this year. These are pictures from ANOTHER one of our snow storms this year.

Nora just likes to eat the snow.

The snow was almost as tall as Nora. She could barely move in it.

The snow was almost up to the top of the fence in the yard.

It's a....

We found out a week and a half ago that we'll be having another girl and we're so excited!
